OUR CURRICULUM

St. Xavier’s as an affiliated college has adopted the semester cum choice based credit system of Ranchi University Ranchi. At the time of admission each student will opt for an Honours(Main/ Major) subject in which he/she will concentrate and one Elective (Allied/ Minor) subject, which he/she would choose to study. The undergraduate level curriculum is for three years.

SEMESTER SYSTEM

Academic Year: Two consecutive (one odd + one even) semesters constitute one academic year.

Semester System: The odd semester is scheduled from July to December and the even semester from January to June. Each week has a minimum 30 working hours spread over 6 days.
